Cities everywhere are being increasingly challenged by the need to send immediate notifications to citizens.

Sadly, staffing challenges, changing technology and resource availability create a gap between the knowledge of the citizen and Law Enforcement. iTAG is a powerful solution to this growing problem. As an extension of the iWatch Suite of Mobile applications, iTAG is a low-cost, high-impact notification and alerting toolset allowing citizens to receive alerts as text, emails, with simple formatting or with html, images and video from Public Safety, with total control of assignments, subscription, for both protected or public information..

Users may subscribe, or for professionals be "invited" to single groups or multiple task forces. Users are then mapped and displayed in a searchable database deliverable to handsets or websites for the public, departmental or interagency sharing and collaboration.

The applications are wide reaching but simple in implementation.

Citizens can then reply with images and video from their cell phones for email to further investigative or emergency applications. The IP address of the PC or Cellphone is captured during the submittal for additional research as needed. If available, the GPS coordinate of the submittal is also recorded.

Tag data can be exported to RSS, XML feeds, CSV, Word, or PDf, or page publishing software. Information can be posted to the site from CAD data or from csv or text files from a user control panel.
